Course Reflection: In this course I learned not only about the use of technology in the classroom, but also the importance of encouraging students to be critical thinkers, problem solvers, and innovators. In the article How do Educational Professionals Understand Creativity it reads, “It is indispensable that educators know the strategies to develop their creative potential and design learning scenarios that foster creativity in their students”(2012, p 47). As educators we need to be innovative in the way we teach by encouraging creativity, problem-solving, and questioning. Educators need to change the way they teach for students to be 21st century learners.
